Practice of Conscious Rest

Welcome,

Yoga Nidra is the practice of conscious rest. The body sleeps; awareness stays awake. In this threshold state, the deeper layers of the system can integrate, release, and receive. You will be guided through deep relaxation, all the way to the doorway between waking and sleep.

Before we begin, find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed for the next forty-five minutes or more. You may use this practice to recharge during the day or to enter deep restful sleep at night.

Have a journal and a pen nearby.

If you use this meditation to enter sleep, pay special attention to your dreams.

Lie comfortably on your back, hands and feet relaxed, gently spread apart.

When you are ready, press play.

After the meditation, take a moment to notice how you feel.

Anchor what you discovered in your journal, in your own words, no filter, no shaping.

If you wish to share your experience, I am here.
